The 2005 May Fly Club ‘meeting on the Beaverkill’ took place on the weekend of June 10 and 11. This year club members and guest tyers demonstrated their unique fly tying techniques for a first time at a mini symposium from 12noon to 5p.m. on Saturday.  It was presented free of charge and was open to the general public. A raffle of the member’s flies was held and the winner was a lucky guy from England .  “Guess who” This gathering of well-known tyers was held at the Red Rose in the Motel/restaurant’s dining area and Flyfishers packed the hall from beginning to end. Everyone thought it was a great idea and there are plans to expand it next year.  Click [here] to go to 2006 show.

Over a hundred flyfishers and flytyers attended our inaugural show. Which was fantastic considering it was very hard to advertise. Now the word is really out we hope to build on the shows success.  We have more ideas for the 2006 show so please book mark this site. Steve ran around for 5 minutes and took some snaps shown here. If anyone out there has more pictures of the show we can use please forward them by clicking here.
Thank you all for your support.
